My mother dropped me off my first day and then left for New Jersey. Terry saw me in the cafeteria and introduced himself. We were friends for the next 3 years.
He'd gone to Landrum and knew a lot of students but with all K classes I knew a total of 30 kids for the next 3 years.
Terry and I never looked back after graduation.
Twenty years later I drove by SBHS and saw that it was McDonald's Management training. I wonder what happened to that obscene polar bear.
