Last time I saw Ike, was the Spring of 1971 or 72. He was hitchhiking to Austin and we picked him up and gave him a ride. Then he was gone. I remember when he moved onto my street (Longridge)...all the girls at Ridgecrest Elementary had a crush on him.
Ike was a personal friend (lived ttree houses down from me- on Longridge) and fellow scout (Troop 808 of Houston!). Yes - he was handsome - the babes may well have had crushes..
The good news is: He's OK - he has already come back once and now (Feb, 2011) is back in The Light. (NO, we never reincarnate as animals)
