While growing up, George’s family lived across the street from my family on Glourie Drive and we were the best of friends. Summer days were spent playing baseball in George’s backyard and riding bikes.
After high school we drifted apart; but, I do remember running into him one Saturday evening in 1971 at the University of Houston Student Center. During a conversation with him, George advised he was living on campus and he was studying to become a dentist. That was the last time I saw or spoke with him.
