I just remember the giant bear in the hallway. The cafeteria was hot if you ate outside. I remember the dances and games. Remember Ridgecrest Elementary and Landrum because we lived between these two schools. Not far from the swimming pool too.

Love being still in Houston except for the humidity. Been married since 1983 and have two older children in their 30s. Our daughter has our first grandchild and our son works at Whole Foods in Katy. Spent a lot of time dealing with my son with special needs while in school.

We are active with a neighborhood group, GMBAC.com, fixing up Mission Bend, an old area that experienced the flight out to Katy and Fort Bend suburbia. (Like Sharpstown) This is my second marriage, but only one with kids. Do art only sometimes and help my sister with her art business: intarsia.com. Mostly volunteer, an avid gym rat at the Monty Ballard YMCA in Katy! We are in the Houston Bicycle Club and do rides in town weekly and some long country rides.

I really graduated at Memorial High School in /69, but grew up with all of you since Ridgecrest Elementary, Landrum Jr. High and Spring Branch Sr. High my freshman and sophomore years. I barely know those at Memorial because we moved there in 1967, right behind the then tiny Memorial City Mall. I was about the shortest female in the school with the most freckles! I also was a dancer on Larry Kane Show, which I loved meeting the groups and concerts.(See my Facebook group on this.)

I work out at the wonderful Katy YMCA and do all the LesMills classes and Spinning classes. Also use a personal trainer to get my workouts tweeked. Been running many 5k's. Very active with the Houston Bicycle Club and other groups. Eventually we want to get camper and travel and go on bike tours around the world and US.
