After graduation I went into the U.S. Army and served 2 ½ years. I went into the Special Forces (Green Berets) and trained at Fort Bennington, Georgia for Airborne School and Fort Bragg, North Carolina for weapons and hand to hand combat training. I also went to Fort Sam Houston for medical training as a Medic and then I went to the Military Police School in Fort Gordon, Georgia to become a Military Police. I served in Vietnam and got an early release for serving in combat.
